Long overdue...June is here and almost over!

I haven't been on here in a while, and instead of trying to catch up May, I'll start with June and go back and finish May later. So June has been busy, like it has been for mostly everyone else! School got out on the 12th and I'm determined to make this the best summer ever! Whatever it takes, I'm going to start with a positive attitude and strive to enjoy each day with the kids. I'm going to live like today is the last day I have...well sort of! I probably wouldn't be doing so much laundry if I knew it was my last day...

The highlights of the month so far are that Seth went on a week long canoe trip down the James River. It was a 52 mile trip and he came home exhausted and with a zillion bug bites, but just as many fond memories! He also came back a little bit stronger...he beat me in an arm wrestling match for the first time ever!

Luke went to "Twilight Camp" the same week. No, it's not camp for Stephanie Meyers fans...its cub scout camp at night instead of the day time when it's so hot. He really enjoyed himself. He got to shoot guns, do archery, art, cooking, etc...Lots of fun and he came home pretty tired as well! Oh and the other day Luke was being so funny and decided to dress up as a Bin Laden follower....so I'm posting pictures of that on here too. He cracks me up! He kept chanting, "Bin Laden, Bin Laden, Bin Laden".

Evan is getting anxious to start preschool. He's working on his sounds and doing lots of coloring and writing. He says to me the other day, "Mom can I go to preschool now. I want to be alone". I don't blame him! Now that his brothers and sister are home, the volume has gone up around the Aldridge zoo!

Jack, Jack, Jack....he's still Jack! He loves to eat, scream, run, laugh, hug, kiss, flip, whirl, dive, you get the picture! I caught him eating chocolate chips off the floor this morning. He looked up and said, "Chocolate chips make me happy, Mom". I couldn't argue with that, so I let him finish his snack!

One more funny from Jack. He was being naughty and Macy threatened to put him in time out. He said, "I don't want to go to time out. I'm a nice guy!" He is trying to work the system already! He sure has his sister wrapped around his finger! He has all of us wrapped, I'm afraid!

Enjoy the pictures and thanks for stopping to visit. Feel free to comment! I love to hear from everyone!
